If you’re planning on traveling to Australia, you may want to clear your laptop, iphone and ipad of any pornographic material on it. Customs in this country recently changed their declaration card to include a question regarding the pornography you’re bringing into the country. While we do not know the specific question here at Sex Machines, we have read that they ask aliens to the country whether they are carrying pornography on their person, place or thing.

The reasoning behind this new rule? Australian Custom officials are under the thinking that by posing the question, it makes tourists aware that certain types of pornography are not acceptable in their eyes and that their possessions and electronic devices may be inspected to ensure you are not brining in anything illegal.

If you do declare that you’re carrying porn on your person, it will be inspected to see if you have anything that falls outside their legal parameters. While most people will probably have something legal, for instance the latest celebrity sex tapes or images of your wife stripping in her lingerie, you might want to take a better look at Australian laws to ensure everything complies. Better yet, leave the porn at home, bring a camera and do something to adventurous to add to your collection when you return from your vacation!
